Haeven is an old school RPG with a lot of fresh ideas. Featuring party members that laugh at enemies, become clones of the protagonist, and rewind time. You'll explore Cleril's mind and wrestle for control. Are you controlled by free will, or determinism? Fight out!
Originally released on Steam in 2016, I'm putting it on itch.io for the first time. There's no difference between the two versions.

I am stuck on the first quest, to find the stranger. This seems to be as far as I can go: to the point where there is a double of me that moves in the opposite direction of each of my steps. This bit is a dead end and I see no way to get further into the area. Could you please help me out?
Move straight down so you are at the edge facing south, press enter. The goal of these puzzles is to get your double to the crystal and then press enter. If for some reason something breaks you should be able to return to Haeven (the hub area) and return to the room resetting everything.
I believe the game does check where your double is located before solving the puzzle so you do need the double in the right position.
